What is artificial intelligence and machine learning

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science that deals with creating intelligent machines that can perform tasks that would typically require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation.

Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of AI that involves algorithms and statistical models that enable computers to improve from experience without being explicitly programmed. In other words, ML algorithms learn from data and use that learning to make predictions or take actions without being explicitly told how to perform the task.

There are various types of ML algorithms, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, semi-supervised learning, and reinforcement learning. These algorithms can be used for a wide range of applications, such as image and speech recognition, natural language processing, fraud detection, and recommendation systems, among others.

Together, AI and ML are transforming many industries and have the potential to revolutionize the way we live and work, bringing significant benefits and challenges.
